Editorial Board

Role

  1. Participate directly in the double-blind peer-review process and make recommendations on whether articles should be accepted.

  2. Comment on and monitor the quality of submissions, and propose measures for improvement.

  3. Establish a panel of peer reviewers based on expertise, utilising contacts to build a list of experts who will review articles submitted for publication.

Membership

The Editorial Board shall consist of at least fifteen international members from around the world. Members must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) qualification in a relevant field deemed appropriate.

Terms of Office

Appointments shall be for a renewable two-year term.

Communication

The Editorial Board shall meet as needed, but at least once a year. Meetings shall normally be held electronically, as funding is not provided for face-to-face meetings. The quorum shall be 50% of the Board’s membership. Meetings shall be chaired by the Editor-in-Chief.

Decisions shall be reached by consensus where possible. The agenda and supporting documentation shall be distributed at least seven working days before each Editorial Board meeting.
